چکیده
Cesium in-cooperated in Mobile Composite Matter Number 41 (CsMCM-41) was synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis. The material used involve Ludox AS-40 as silica (SiO2) source, aluminum isoproxide alumina (Al2O3) hydroxide (CeOH) mineralizer. CsMCM-41 characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms and fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy. sample shows a high surface area (685 m2 g-1), large pore volume (0.99 m2g-1), 20.7 Ao its size. basicity of the determine back titration to obtained 101.57 mmol g-1. heterogeneous solid base catalyst which is more environmentally friendly synthesize jasminaldehyde an aldol condensation reaction between benzaldehyde heptanal at different temperature time. This replace homogeneous (NaOH, KOH) that produce corrosive bases waste. Four heating methods were studied. Microwave, non-microwave instant heating, oven refluxing method. microwave method gave higher conversion (78.2%) selectivity (70.2%) 180oC 45 min. result minimized heat loss displayed by apparatus. Oven synthesis lower (29.4%) (53.1%), longer time (24 hours), resulted due surrounding. Microwave irradiation found be best for (Cs-MCM-41) can recycled number times (up 5 times), without deactivation same no waste generated.

Aldol Condensation of Aldehydes and Ketones over Solid Base Catalysts
Introduction Industrially condensation reactions are of great importance in the production of a number of key compounds. These include 2-ethyl hexanol, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and Guerbet alcohols. Over 1.5 million tonnes of these chemicals are produced worldwide every year using homogeneous bases such as NaOH and Ca(OH)2. It has been estimated for these compounds that 30% of the selling ...
